I was born and raised in the small, rainy town of Kamuela on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Growing up, I was exposed to a beautiful tropical paradise, a thunderous volcano, the tallest mountains, the brightest stars and the vast Pacific Ocean. The beauty and spontaneity of nature has always supported and fueled my inspiration. My great passion for photography led me to study at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where I learned the technical and creative skills to make and deliver eye-catching imagery and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Currently, I reside in Los Angeles, and work for the J. Paul Getty Museum Imaging Studios. Sharing the way I see the world through images has been such a rewarding experience that has opened my eyes and expanded my view beyond what I ever imagined.
